The All Kurung Kumey District Students’ Union (AKKDSU) demanded on Monday that the state government create Group C positions for the area, claiming that the district lacks “equitable post creations of multitasking staff (MTS) and other supporting staffers to manage the district administrative circles.”

The district administration has frequently informed the state government of the necessity to create MTS posts for various administrative circles in Kurung Kumey district, according to AKKDSU president Tarh Demi, who spoke at a press conference at the Arunachal Press Club.

Demi explained that the circle officer assigned to Polosang circle must work from Koloriang since Polosang circle, which is regarded the district’s most remote circle headquarters, lacks infrastructure. He added that most of the circle headquarters in the district are functioning poorly as they are understaffed and without basic infrastructure.
