Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Constructions Workers Welfare Board passed the ‘Mukhya Mantri Shramik Kalyan Yojana.’ The initiative aims at ensuring decentralized sanction of statutory benefits for the welfare of registered workers. 

It is mentioned that the Deputy Commissioners will have the sanctioning power of disbursement at district level and would provide benefits in accordance with the model welfare scheme issued by the Ministry of Labour & Employment.

It is to be noted that the welfare programme would simplify the processes of registration and renewal to increase coverage. The scheme will be implemented with the total budgetary outlay of Rs.30 crore for this financial year.
