The Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Shri Chowna Mein applauds the Department of Power along with the Planning Department for introducing the Online Payment facility.

The Online Payment system in these trying times has been benefiting the consumer very much, as they could pay their bills from the comfort of their home. It not only saves time and energy of the consumer but also helps in maintaining Social distancing.

Since the launch of the online facility in Arunachal’s six towns, more than 3000 post paid meter transaction and 4100 prepaid meter transaction with value of Rs 145 lakhs have been reported. It is also noticed that 70 percent of the consumer paid using their mobile phones.
