Arunachal: Historic Dipa Village gets new PHC

Dipa village in Lower Siang district, which raised the state’s first flag, witnessed another historic event on Saturday with the inauguration of the newly-upgraded PHC from a sub-centre by Director of Health Services (DHS) Moromor Lego, in the presence of DC, DMO, Gaon Burahs, and villagers.

The villagers were overwhelmed by the DHS’s visit, which assured them that they would support future development activities pertaining to the improvement of Dipa Primary Health Centre in the near future.

Marto Riba expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Lego, the villagers, the PRI leaders, and the Gao Burahs for their enthusiastic gathering. He also expressed his hopes for further development activities at the PHC, Dipa, from the directorate.

The DC urged all PHC recipients to work with the doctors and other medical personnel who were stationed there.

Chief Engineer (Power) Rokom H Bado expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Lego and stated that his visit to the village was historic and a boon to the people of Dipa in particular, as well as the people of surrounding villages in general.

The director stated that he is looking forward to possible aids for further improvement of health-related activities. Dipa, Gidin, Pale, Kuntor, Silli, Silli Ete, Liche, Jipu, and Seren are among the 12 villages that will benefit from the opening of the Primary Health Centre in Dipa.
