Superintendent of Police Tumme Amo joins as the Commandant of 2 Bn Arunachal Armed Police at Aalo. The Police personnel said that he has returned to his hometown after 20 years.

While taking charge of the Battalion Headquarters he reviewed all the administrative matters with his officers including manpower position and their places of deployment. He took stock of all the matters including post vacancies, physical & mental fitness of officials from all ranks, regular indoor/outdoor activities and about recent COVID cases or seriously ill staff.

He further outlined a scheme of actions for coming months, where he plan to visit the units of 2nd Bn at Tezu, Roing, Anini, Yingkiong, Mechuka, Daporijo, Ziro, Koloriang to hear grievances and problems of the officers & jawans. He will also visit schools & villages to teach children from poor backgrounds and create awareness against social evils.
