A team of the Bomdila forest division in West Kameng district, comprising DFO Chukhu Loma, RFO TD Megaji and others, intercepted two trucks (AS-19C-3805 and AS-18C-1075) loaded with illegal timber at the Dedza forest check gate on friday night.

The DFO urged the people to desist from carrying out any illegal activities in the forest areas and instead “cooperate with the department in protecting the open wealth.”
