As the Indian Premier League is underway in the UAE, the Police in different states are actively investigating several organised illegal betting groups. According to top police sources, the organised rings operate from obscure towns in utmost secrecy with the help of local administration in some instances.
Earlier this month, two betting rackets were busted in the country—the first in Bengaluru and the second in Jaipur.
