A large quantity of Heroin was seized by the Karbi Anglong police from an SUV vehicle near the Assam-Nagaland border in East Karbi Anglong. According to reports, the Karbi Anglong police intercepted a bolero vehicle bearing the registration number MN 01S 1680 in front of the Lahorijan Patrol Post on Wednesday based on specific information.

During the search, police found 50 soap cases containing 646 grammes of heroin in the vehicle.

The soap boxes were carefully hidden inside the vehicle’s rear tail light. The drugs were brought from Manipur and were supposed to be delivered in Guwahati, according to preliminary investigation.
