In its fight against the state’s drug mafia, the Assam police have scored a major victory. The Assam police have recovered and seized heroin with a market value of around Rs 4 crore.

The discovery was made in the Lahorijan sub-division of Assam’s Karbi Anglong district, in the Bokajan sub-division. SDPO of Bokajan sub-division John Das led the Assam police team.

The heroin seized weighed about 650 grams.
