BJP president J P Nadda will address a rally in Silchar on Monday and also attend few party programmes during his two-day tour of poll-bound Assam.

A meeting is scheduled between Nadda, State party leadership, including Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.

In the month of April, the assembly poll is likely to be held in the northeastern states.

The BJP hopes to dominate in the upcoming polls as well.

However, BJP will see oppositions party’s defense along with issues, including the controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Act.
