On Saturday, an Oil India Limited (OIL) pipeline caught fire near Dehing-Patkai National Park on the Digboi-Duliajan route, causing a stir in the region.

A video of flames breaking out of an OIL pipeline near Dehing-Patkai National Park has gone popular on social media.

After seeing the fire in the OIL pipeline, Devojit Moran, a local environmentalist, captured the video clip.

“The Dehing-Patkai National Park is under a significant hazard as a result of the OIL pipeline leak,” Moran stated. The gas and condensate that leaks endangers the biodiversity of Dehing-Patkai National Park,” says the report.
