The drug battle in Assam has increased, with massive seizures occurring on a regular basis. Police in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district seized narcotics worth crores of rupees on Sunday.

The police in Assam’s Karbi Anglong area recovered heroin worth over Rs 8 crores. The confiscated package is about 1 kilogramme in weight.

The arrest was made near the Balijan Forest region in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district’s Bokajan sub-division. On September 1, police in Karbi Anglong also made a large narcotics seizure.
