Assam : Tank blast injures Railway workers at Bongaigaon

A bogie tank exploded at the railway workshop at New Bongaigaon in Assam which left three railway staff workers injured.

While the railway workers were welding the bogie tank at the workshop, it exploded.

Subhash Ghose(58), Subhash Ray(54) and Nandeswar Singha (55) sustained injuries during the  explosion.

Ignorance from the Chief Workshop Manager of the railway workshop led to the incident.

The explosion took place due to improper outsourcing work of cleaning the tanks.

A complained has been registered by the authorities at the New Bongaigaon Railways Workshop in regards to safety.
