On Saturday morning, two individuals were killed and two others were badly injured after their car slammed into a tree at high speed in central Assam’s Nagaon district.

Himangshu Kakati and Radha Govinda Bora were killed in the incident in Dimaruguri, according to authorities.

“The Mauri Swift car crammed into the tree and two persons died on the spot. The driver was over-speeding,” a police officer said.

Manabjyoti Saikia and Chinasu Agarwala have been recognised as the injured. He stated that they had been admitted to the district hospital and that the bodies had been submitted for a post-mortem examination.
