Assam : ULFA-I threatens to kill oil employee from Bihar after Feb 16

The Quippo Oil and Gas Infrastructure Limited has been given February 16 as the last date to secure its employee Ram Kumar, from Bihar from the ULFA-Independent.

The ULFA-I said, “There will be no further extension of time”. 

The ULFA-I in a statement said that the oil company is disinterested in securing its employees.

“If there is no response from the company by February 16, necessary action will be taken against Ram Kumar the next day. There will be no further extension of time,” said ULFA-I. 

ULFA-I and NSCN militants abducted radio operator Ram Kumar (35), from Bihar and drilling Superintendent Pranab Kumar Gogoi (51) from Assam’s Sivasagar district on December 21, while they were working at the Kumchaika drilling site in Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh.

A ransom of Rs 20 crore has been demanded by the ULFA-I. 

A video of the two abducted employees was released by the ULFA-I where they were seen requesting their respective State Governments and Chief Ministers to secure them.
