The body of a youth was discovered in a gutter in Guwahati on Wednesday. When his body was recovered from a sewer near Nemcare Hospital in the Bhangagarh region of Guwahati, his throat was found to be slit, according to sources.
Bishal Rai, a 25-year-old lad, has been identified as the body. Saidul, according to Bishal Rai’s relatives, was responsible for his killing. Several arrests have been made in connection with the investigation.
The matter, though, is still being looked into. In other developments, a woman was slain by her ex-husband in a Mizoram open market suicide bombing.
