Assam: Youth killed After Dumper Crashes Into Bike in Golaghat, 6 Injured

After a speeding dumper rammed into upper Assam’s Golaghat area, a kid died on the scene and six pedestrians were seriously injured. The collision happened on National Highway 39 near Rangajan Dhulia village in Golaghat district, according to sources.

According to a police officer, the deceased rider was named as Sajjad Hussain, a native of Golaghat. According to witnesses, the dumper (AS-05C-5304) was rushing from Numligarh towards Rangajan when it collided with the bike and people travelling from the other way.

The injured have all been sent to the Golaghat Shwahid Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital. Meanwhile, the dumper’s driver and handyman escaped the site of the collision.

Earlier, on Tuesday, an 18-year-old was killed in a traffic accident in Katalbari, South West Garo Hills, Meghalaya.

According to accounts, the guy was killed when his motorcycle, AS17D4148, collided with a vehicle. The dead was identified as Romeo Koch, and the injured pillion as Polison Koch. The injured guy was sent to the Garobadha PHC for treatment right away.
