After being hit by a speeding vehicle late Saturday night on the National Highway 37 in Assam’s Kaziranga, a hog deer died.

The Kaziranga National Park (KNP) authorities said a hog deer was killed in a road accident yesterday at the Haldibhari animal corridor.

Following the death of the hog deer, the KNP authorities have advised commuters to drive slowly while passing through Kaziranga on the National Highway.
