The Manas National Park in Assam re-opened for visitors on Friday after remaining closed during the monsoon season and also because of the pandemic.
The Principal Chief conservator of Forest (PCCF) A.M Singh formally declared the national park open at a function held in connection with the 66th Wildlife Week organised by the MNP authorities at Salbari in Baksa District.
However, the visitors will have to maintain COVID-19 protocols while visiting the World Heritage Site.
