Northeast’s first-ever cow hospital was inaugurated in Assam’s Dibrugarh district.
Keeping in mind, the cow hospital was inaugurated on the occasion of Gopashtami.
Costing around INR 17 lakhs, Shree Gopal Gaushala took the responsibility of building the hospital. They named it as Surbhi Aarogyashala.
Manager of Shree Gopal Gaushal, Nirmal Bediya stated, “On the auspicious occasion of Gopashtami, we have inaugurated the first hospital for cows in the Northeast. The hospital will provide services in 30 km radius”.
368 cows in the shelter at present, according to reports.
