Passenger Train Service between Assam’s Silchar & Mizoram’s Bairabi will resume

More short-distance trains will be run by NF Railway.

Passenger train service between Assam’s Silchar and Mizoram’s Bairabi will resume this week. The Northeast Frontier Railways (NFR) issued a statement confirming the news.

The passenger train between Silchar and Bairabi will run every two weeks. Train service between the two towns will be resumed on September 10th (Friday).

“Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to resume passenger special train services between Silchar and Bairabi for the benefit of local passengers beginning this week,” the NFR said in a statement.
