Aaranyak, a Guwahati-based biodiversity conservation organisation, donated field gear to 26 members of the Assam Police Department’s Rhino Protection Group for rhino protection at Kaziranga National Park (KNP).

The Rhino Protection Group received shoes, raincoats, and torch lights from the organisation in conjunction with the Sub-Division Police Office of Bokakhat at the Bokakhat Police Station in Golaghat.

The field equipment were handed over by the Aaranyak team members located near Kaziranga, which included Arif Hussain, Manager, Rhino Research and Conservation Division, Sanjib Kumar Bezbaruah, and Swapan Kumar Nath, in the presence of Sub-SDPO Ananta Hazarika and Officer-in-Charge, Pradip Kumar Bora.
