Suspected underground miscreants lobbed a bomb that exploded near an office of the All Manipur Students’ Union (AMSU) in Imphal on June 8(Tuesday), informed police sources.

The police informed that no casualties have been reported.

AMSU is a major student organization of the state.

The incident took place at around 7.20 pm. The bomb lobbers managed to flee from the scene.

The police informed that no arrests have been made yet and investigations are going on.
