The Covid-19 situation in Manipur has closed Kangla Palace for its people. Kangla Palace holds religious and historical significance for the people of Manipur.
The Kangla Board has allowed people to enter the palace for religious and ritualistic purposes provided COVID-19 guidelines are being followed, said M. Joy Singh, member and secretary of the Kangla Board and Commissioner of Art and Culture, Government of Manipur.
To enter Kangla Palace people will have to take permission from the authority at least seven days prior to their visit.
