According to a report by the State Health Department, in the past 24 hours, 341 persons have tested positive in Manipur taking the state’s tally to 19,091.
Central Armed Police Forces personnel are included among the cases numbering 28.
The locals who were tested positive did not had any significant travel history, said spokesperson of the state health department, Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang.
During the past 24 hours, 278 affected were discharged from Covid-19 care facilities. Nine lives were lost in the city on Monday infected by the disease.
The recovery rate stands at 80.36 percent, where the total numbers of active and recovered cases in the state are 3,568 and 15,343 respectively.
