Taking the state’s total to 164, four more deaths were reported on Manipur on Friday

The succumbed patients were from Kangpokpi, Imphal (East) and Churachandpur, Imphal (West).

In the mean time, 221 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in the past 24 hours, of which 14 were from the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and 207 are from the general population.

A total number of 18,272 COVID-19 cases were recorded in the State so far.

Taking as a whole, the number of recovered patients was recorded 13805, of which 222 persons were discharged from 18 COVID care facilities in the past 24 hours.

The recovery rate of Manipur stands at 75.55 per cent, with a total of 4,303 active cases at present.

With 3,49,360 individuals being tested for COVID-19, 4,28,195 people were screened in different entry points of the state, on Friday.
