A grenade was lobbed by unknown troublemakers at the Raj Bhawan in Imphal, Manipur. To a relief, the grenade remained unexploded. The grenade was thrown towards the main entrance gate of the Raj Bhawan. Zero reports of casualty or injury have been reported from the attack.

The attack has not been claimed by any militant group in the State so far. The incident happened at about 4:15 in the afternoon. The grenade was diffused by a bomb disposal squad that rushed to the spot. An investigation into the case has been launched by the police.
