Lowest minimum temperature of 2.29 degrees Celsius was recorded at Manipur’s Senapati district on Saturday.

The Climate Change Cell of the Manipur Directorate of Environment said that so far, it was the lowest minimum temperature recorded among all districts.

In the last few days the minimum temperature in the State has was around 5 to 7 degrees Celsius.

Lamphelpat-based Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Manipur Centre sources said, the temperature has decreased in Imphal since Thursday (7.5 degrees Celsius) and Friday (6 degrees Celsius).

Minimum temperature of 4.4 degree Celsius was recorded at its centre on Saturday.
