Manipur : Recovery rate of COVID-19 goes up to 83.78%

The total number of Covid-19 recovered cases in Manipur has reached 17,072 with 358 new recoveries in the past 24 hours on Sunday, said officials.
Manipur’s recovery rate is 83.78 % at present.
Among the recovered patients 13 are from Covid care facilities and 275 from home isolation facilities. This was said by COVID-19 common control room in Imphal in a press release on Sunday.
2,574 are from Centre Security Personnel while 14,498 are from the General public.
In the mean time, 242 individuals from the general public and 1 Personnel from Central Armed Police Force were registered as new COVID-19 positive cases.
19 testing facilities in the state confirmed about the newly added COVID-19 cases.
From the General public the newly registered cases are from Imphal West (129), Imphal East (35), Thoubal (20), Kangpokpi (2), Bishnupur (40), Kakching (4), Churachandpur (9), Jiribam (2) and Kamjong(2), it added.
In a press release, 58 years (Imphal East), 75 years (Thoubal) and 55 years (Imphal East) succumbed to covid-19 at JNIMS and RIMS hospital.
The number of active cases is 3,107 while the increased number of positive cases is 20,376 while, the press added.
A total of 8,4,42,441 people were screened as of November at various entry points into the state, while 3,70,8154 cases were registered for the disease.
