Two former government schools by the name of Tondonsana High School and Bengali High School have been claimed to be sold off by the previous Congress government for Rupee 1 in agreement for setting up private schools. The BJP government has been called upon by the Federation of Haomee to constitute a high-level committee investigation of the matter.
It is suspected that few ministers may have benefitted a large amount of money by converting the two government schools into private schools for just a rupee, the statement claimed.
It was said that the government demolished the schools in the mid of scholastic year and the school students had to go to a school which was arranged by the government that is 3 km far away from the previous schools.
