For specially-abled persons, a two day special COVID-19 vaccination drive was launched on the campus of People Advanced in Social Services (PASS) in New Mata in the district headquarters, by the Churachandpur district administration in Manipur.

The vaccination drive was held in collaboration with PASS and Social Human Action for Rural Empowerment (SHARE).

85 people were vaccinated on the first day. To ensure maximum coverage of people, free transportation service was kept for persons with disabilities.

Residents of Mata village, D Phailian, Mualkot, Saipum, New Zou Veng, Sehken, D Leikot, Tangnuam, Buallian, Bisanmual, S Bualkot Village, Emmanuel Khopi, Vengnuam New Lamka, Kanaan Veng, Headquarter Veng, and Hill Town of Churachandpur were able to avail the special vaccination drive.
