Manipur : NPP claims legislators are together & intact

All four NPP legislators are together and intact, said the interim president of the National People’s Party (NPP), Manipur State Unit, N. Kayisii and former Health Minister L. Jayantakumar Singh.
Addressing reporters at the press meet, former Tribal Affairs Minister N. Kayisii said that the BJP did not consult the state president or the national president of NPP, Conrad Sangma about the reshuffle.
“What sort of a coalition government is he running when you can’t take your coalition partner into confidence before the reshuffle?” asked Kayisii.
Former Health Minister L. Jayantakumar Singh said that the BJP violated the ethics of both the coalition government and NEDA (North-East Democratic Alliance).
“It was more like a coup as nobody in the NPP was informed about the reshuffle,” he said.
Jayantakumar also said that it was a matter of time before the NPP announced a final decision.
NPP leaders N. Kayisii and L. Jayantakumar were dropped from the cabinet ministry in the Biren-led reshuffle on September 24.
Since then, the four NPP legislators from Manipur which included the present Deputy CM of Manipur, Y Joykumar Singh, had camped in Guwahati and deliberated on their stance vis-a-vis the coalition government with the national party president, Conrad Sangma.
