The draft Meghalaya Youth Policy was reviewed by chief minister Conrad Sangma. It is at its final stages of completion.
The Meghalaya Youth Policy allows the youths to polish their capacities and indulge in different activities like sports, co-curricular activities, and entrepreneurship to skill-based development.
The meeting assessed if the different interventions placed in the draft policy are appropriate according to the needs of the youths.
The Youth Policy Survey Portal was launched by the Chief Minister in December last year.
Sangma said that while drafting the policy, the opinions of all stakeholders would be taken into consideration.
