Two friends were reported death in a mysterious event in Nongstoin, leaving many confused.

Mairang Police on Monday evening recovered a highly decomposed body of one Phlainingstar Syiemlieh (34) at Kynshi Bangla near NH 44E.

Sources said that Phlainingstar was last seen with his friend, Dijestarfield L Nonglait (33) who was also found hanging on the same evening from the ceiling of his house at Kynshi Bangla.

According to a complaint filed by the Phlainingstar’s sister, Phlainingstar had not returned home for the last one week. Meanwhile, police investigation is under way.
