From February 23rd the Budget session of Mizoram is scheduled to begin.
The budget session of the State Legislature was authoritatively called on by Mizoram Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai, to start from February 23. Assembly Secretary H Lalrinawma made the announcement.
A meeting will be held by the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) to plan out the schedule of the session.
The budget would be presented by Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga in the State Assembly for 2021-22. CM Zoramthanga also holds the Finance portfolio.
The start of the budget session would be marked by delivery of the customary address of the Governor on the first day of the session.
