On Tuesday, a three-day Mizoram assembly session will begin, according to an official. Assembly secretary H. Lalrinawma said the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting, which was recently chaired by assembly speaker Lalrinliana Sailo, had mapped out a detailed schedule for the session, which will last three days until September 9.

The assembly secretariat has received at least 258 starred questions to be answered during the session. He also stated that 227 unstarred questions were accepted.

During the three-day session, two government bills will be tabled, according to the official: the Mizoram Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2021, and the Mizoram Agricultural Land Leasing Bill, 2021.
