During a vaccination campaign, children received pulse polio drops in Lunglei in Mizoram.

The polio vaccination drive was organized by Lunglei Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles for children of Lunglei Garrison and Sethlun area of the town, on February 2.

The vaccination drive was done to enhance the health of local children as well as part of the community service provided by the paramilitary force.

Distribution of anti-malarial drug Mefloquine was also done by Assam Rifles among the people participating in the drive.

A lecture on lifestyle diseases was also imparted during the programme.
