For employment under the Government of Nagaland, a nursing student needs to graduate from a Nursing School/College which is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, informed the Nagaland Nursing Council.

This statement was passed due to few institutions who put up advertisements for training of nurses, informed a press release from the council.

The recognized nursing institutes in Nagaland recognized by the INC are School of Nursing, Naga Hospital Authority Kohima; School of Nursing, IMDH, Mokokchung; School of Nursing, District Hospital, Dimapur; ANM School of Nursing, Tuensang; School of Nursing, CISHR, Dimapur; College of Nursing, CISHR, Dimapur; and Health Nursing School, Dhansiripar, Singrijan, Dimapur.

“Anyone passing out from any other institution other than those mentioned above will not be eligible for government employment,” informed the Nagaland Nursing Council.
