Operational preparedness and counter insurgency operations in Assam, Nagaland and Manipur was reviewed by General officer commanding-in-Chief of Indian Army’s Eastern Command – Lt General Anil Chauhan on his 3-day visit(April 27 – 29) to the States of Assam, Nagaland and Manipur.

He also paid a visit to the units and formations of Spear Corps and Assam Rifles in Nagaland and Manipur. He was also elaborated over the advancement made in the ongoing Naga Peace Talks by Senior Army Officials.

He also has a conversation with the men placed in the operational areas of Northeast. He praised over the status of preparedness and counter insurgency operations in the region.
