A conference to plan the West District’s Gandhi Jayanti celebrations was held today at the district administrative centre in Rabdentse. Additional district collector (West) Agawane Rohan Ramesh presided over the meeting.
Surat Gurung, ADC (Development), K.C. Gyatsho, CMO (W) Bikash Pradhan, DPO (Zilla) Saran Pradhan, Mukesh Dahal, Geyzing BDO Mukesh Dahal, and Dev Nepal, Nehru Yuva Kendra district youth coordinator, attended the conference.
According to ADC Agwane Rohan Ramesh, a cleaning drive would be conducted at the district administrative centre premises as part of the Gandhi Jayanti programme.
In this regard, he instructed all officers and their employees (inside DAC) to meet at DAC at 8:00 a.m.
He added that after the garlanding of Mahatma Gandhi’s statue, an aggressive cleanliness push will be conducted out at DAC and its surrounding regions.
