Sikkim : CM calls on Union IT Minister

Union Information Technology & Communication minister Ravi Shankar Prasad received a call on during his tour of New Delhi by Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang also known as P.S. Golay, on Sunday.

The Union minister was thanked by the Chief Minister in his official social media page for his public declaration on an independent administrative unit of BSNL. Fulfillment of the Digital India campaign, a vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was discussed along with the posting of the Chief General Minister in Sikkim soon as informed by Ravi Shankar Prasad.

The Chief Minister posted, “The digital medium has been a boon for us especially during the time of the pandemic which enabled us to carry out various work without any hurdles. The Union minister was kind enough to assure us that the Union government will give maximum support for the development of Special Economic Zone in the State”.
