Sikkim : CM calls on Union minister

Multiple centrally aided development projects in the state were discussed by the Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang and Union minister Jitendra Singh, on Sunday.
An official statement said, Tamang submitted two proposals during the meeting, one of which is under a prestigious district in the state for development of the Northeastern region (DoNER).
Tamang notified Jitendra Singh about how heavy the tourist rush is in Sikkim which remained preserved despite setbacks by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Chief Minister expressed his appreciation to the Union minister regarding his regular follow up with the COVID-19 situation in Sikkim and for his help for relief and rehabilitation during the rainfall and floods as well.
