The Sikkim Chief Minister visited the Devithan Mandir earlier in the morning to inspect the Lal market area to evaluate the feasibility of shifting it below the Devithan Mandir at Ravangla.

The ADC(Development) was directed to prepare an estimate for a diversion road from Ravangla to Tathagata Tsal via Cho Dzo lake. A proposal for the construction of a traditional and modern archery field have also been ordered to the authorities for which the land has already been allocated.

The construction site of a multi-purpose playing field was also examined and the authorities were asked to submit the plan and its estimate by January 15, 2021.

“It was a blissful moment for us to visit the Doling monastery to offer our prayers on the third day of the auspicious Loosong-Namsoong festival”, the Chief Minister wrote on his official facebook page.
