Operations to be resumed by Delta Corp Limited at its casino in Sikkim from November 1, 2020.

The company stock was bullish in early morning trade after the news on Wednesday.

At around 9.25 am the company stock is selling at Rs113.75, up by Rs5.5 or 5.08% from its previous closing of Rs108.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs111 and has touched a high and low of Rs114.80 and Rs109.85 respectively.

“Our casino in Sikkim will resume operations from November 1, 2020, in accordance with applicable safety norms prescribed by the Government of Sikkim and Central Government,” company said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and in line with the directives issued by various Governments, all the casinos and hotels operated by the company stopped operations in the third week of March, 2020.
