Tripura High Court Directs State to Regularise Salary of Teachers

The Tripura High Court has directed the Tripura government to regularize the pay of 962 science graduate teachers within the next six months.

A single bench of chief justice AA Kureshi asked the state government to provide regular salaries to these teachers along with their outstanding salaries and arrears of the past three years. The high court pronounced the verdict in a plea by these teachers for regularization of their salaries.

The state government appealed that it was not possible to pay regular salaries to them, which the high court rejected.
