Members of the Trinamool Congress’s youth wing were allegedly attacked by BJP supporters in Tripura while their team was preparing for the TMC’s student wing’s foundation, which is set to take place on Saturday.

On his way to Agartala in Tripura, TMC MP and key party leader Abhishek Banerjee’s convoy was allegedly assaulted. On social media, the Trinamool Congress politician posted a video accusing the BJP of organising the attack.

“Democratic rule in Tripura under the BJP. In a tweet, he remarked, “Well done (Chief Minister) Biplab Deb for bringing the state to new heights.”
