IPS officer, VS Yadav was appointed as the state’s new Director General of Police by the Tripura government, a notification said.
Previously, A.K Shukla retired from the post on January 31. After almost 10 months later, the 1987 batch officer was designated for the post.
After Shukla gave his resignation from the post, Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order), Rajiv Singh was performing the services of a DGP.
The Principal Secretary of the OBC Welfare Department is VS Yadav currently.
