Beauty Of Books | lets open our minds.

Beauty Of Books | lets open our minds.

Ever since I was a kid, I always loved to read, There was something about books that drew me in unlike anything else. We take journeys  places and horizons. The feeling of reading a good book was incomparable to almost anything else, including watching a TV show or movie. As I get older, I find myself with less and less free time that allows me to read and further explore my hobby.  I think books are the most powerful and mind opener for a being.

Do you know that Reading has numerous benefits that can aid in a person’s wellbeing, both physical and mental.

If you are stressed then that’s fine because some amount of stress can be beneficial and help motivate people. however, too much stress can cause mental and physical health problems. You just need to open a good book and getting immersed in a story transports you from your daily struggles and stresses into the story. It can help stop constant worries and even put those worries into perspective when you are exposed to the characters’ own dilemmas, depending on which novel you decide to read. Not to mention, reading can break up the monotonous routine of life.

Nowadays people are busy connecting themselves more to the social world, and most of there free time is devoted to catching up. Even I too have the same rules for my day to day life but I make myself free to read a good book which allows me to explore new worlds and meet new people, all while stimulating my mind and improving my mood. Stress and being busy is a common excuse for not being able to read for pleasure, yet, ironically enough, reading for pleasure can help manage stress and break up your busy life.

If you guys yearn social understanding then you can definitely go for fiction books  All of these positives contribute to the unique experience of reading a book. Another thing that contributes to this experience is, obviously, the physical book.

Unfortunately, despite the unique experience and all of the numerous positives of reading a good book for enjoyment, there is a major decline in reading for pleasure. Netflix and binge-watching have become a major vice in today’s society. Watching TV has taken over. However, it is not as effective as reading a good book and the experience is not as personal and gratifying. Our nation should focus on spending less time in front of the TV and more time in the library picking out a good book.
