First launched in India in 2008, the updated i20 is expected to be launched in the Indian market in November.

New Delhi: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has officially unveiled on Monday the first design sketches of its all-new i20.

According to the automaker, the new i20 derives its futuristic and dynamic characteristics from ‘Sensuous Sportiness’. It is based on the four fundamental elements of Proportion, Architecture, Styling and Technology.

“The all-new i20 is designed to evoke an emotional human-machine interface representing the persona of modern tech-savvy, ambitious and sophisticated customers. Set to recreate the benchmarks of the premium hatchback segment, the all-new i20 showcases an energetic new avatar and a serene ambience inside,” said a company statement.
