Army Jawan Brutally Beaten up for not Wearing Mask in Jharkhand

In Jharkhand’s Chatra district, an Army jawan was thrashed mercilessly for not wearing a mask. Some local police officers can be seen beating up the jawan in the middle of a market in a new video that has surfaced online. Many of them, ironically, were not wearing masks.

The incident happened in Mayurhand, and the jawan arrived on a motorcycle. During a mask-checking operation, he was apprehended. He was interrogated because he was not wearing the mask, but it quickly escalated into a heated argument. Before beating up the jawan, identified as Pawan Kumar Yadav, with boots, one of the police officers snatched the bike’s key.

A group of unruly police officers assaulted Yadav with kicks and blows. Locals began to demonstrate against the police action, and a case was filed at the Mayurhand police station. The incident was reported to the Superintendent of Police’s office in Chatra, and three police officers and two other officers on the scene were suspended.
